Card of the Day - Alamo
Well for today I have decided to review the ever fun, Alamo from the Drums of War and Archives set. Although he may be a rather odd card given that other frendly durids have 1 heelth and 1 fite he is somewhat useful, or he can be if you happen to be running a druid heavy deck. I am not sure whether this card was intended to be useful or not but he is rather hilarious either way so I am not too concerned about it if he isn't. Overall this card is a good card to have in your collection just to have a laugh once in a while but if you are wanting him for a competitive deck he is simply alright, nothing more, nothing less.

Card of the Day - The Lich King
So today I am looking at the Lich King from the Icecrown set. Honestly this Master Hero seriously underwhelmed me, you go from playing the wow video game and seeing this unbeatable god and then go to the TCG and see this sub par Master Hero in very limited decks. He has the new standard for health in a Master hero of 40 and a decent attack of 4. His effect isn't terrible but it isn't great either. It helps you get a lot of allies really quickly, but in the deck this hero would normally be run in anyways you are already flooding the field with allies as is so the one extra ally per turn is alright. I will admit however that this effect could be extremely useful if the situation ever arises where your opponent has a Weldon in the graveyard or something like that. Overall I would say this hero is somewhere between the usefulness of Tirion and Kel'Thuzad. He can be extremely useful, but he can also be extremely useless. The Lich King in the TCG for me was a MAJOR letdown. I would be rather interested in seeing an Argent Crusade versus a Scourge deck as both decks are a fairly decent counter to each other. I am going to be putting up a poll to see what you, the viewers think as to who would win. Tomorrow I am thinking I will have to look at a fun card some may know named Alamo.

Card of the Day - Mr. Bigglesworth
Alight, since someone posted earlier that I should do a card of the Day Mr. Bigglesworth I will. Mr. Bigglesworth comes from the Naxxramas raid deck and is quite possibly the most powerful card in the game. You heard me, In.....The....Game. Not only does he force you to say "No!!! A curse upon you, interlopers! The armies of the Lich King will hunt you down. You will not escape your fate...." he is also a cat. What is better than that. If he were allowed to be in a regular deck I would say run 4 of him cause he is just so awesome! Alright this may be a gag post but I just haven't had time to write up a real review today. Sorry about that I will get a review tomorrow for everyone.

Card of the Day - Illidan Stormrage
Well, for today's Card of the Day I chose to write on Illidan Stormrage from the Black Temple raid deck. This is one of the more useful Master heroes for a few reasons first off he has one of the highest attacks for a master hero. His health is mediocre but his effect makes up for it. Getting a traitor card from your collection and putting it in play is a really good effect. In a Constructed format that uses a Side Deck, your "collection" for all intents and purposes is indeed your Side Deck. In a format such as Core, which has no Side Deck, any card that did not begin the game in your Deck that you can readily access (to be read: within a reasonable amount of time) is your collection. Thus meaning you do not have to burden your main deck with the cards you would use for this. While on the topic of cards you would use. for this effect, the two main ones would be Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider seen to the left and Lady Vashj seen to the right. Kael's effect alone is game changing. Illidan costs 11 resources which is not too much in the grand scheme of things. Overall I would suggest this card in any traitor hero deck simply because it is quite possible the strongest Master Hero available short of Kel'Thuzad

Card of the Day - Kel'Thuzad
For today's card of the day I am going to talk about Kel'Thuzad from the Scouregewar set. Currently he is one of the strongest Master Hero cards in the game. For a Master hero his health seems a bit low, I mean Warrior heroes have 30 to begin with so he isn't really much a step up from that. However, the main point with this Master hero and all other Master Heroes is its effect. This effect happens to be especially good, being able to take control of any ally your opponent controls and then you are allowed to choose any ally on your opponents side of the field then put any number of them on the field under your control. Honestly this Master Hero will work well in practically any deck. With him having the lowest cost for a Master Hero in the game if you plan on running a Master Hero he should be up there on your list of choices. Overall this hero can be used in a very large variety of decks, and unless something major happens in the TCG he will always be one of the top competitive cards available.

Card of the Day - Alexstrasza the Life-Binder
Alright today i shall review a card from the new set, Alexstraza the Life-Binder. This card seems to have a lot of potential. Assault 5 on a hero card is fairly basic, however, allies cannot be destroyed is the thing you are looking at that makes this card useful... There is only one problem that makes this card almost useless. That being by the time you are able to play her you should have won the game, no exceptions. I mean You have two options to get her out. You either have the 25 resources or you have enough allies out to reduce her cost by there combined attack, which will still make her cost around 10-12 depending on what kind of deck you are running, plus you will have enough attack on the field that you should pretty much wipe your opponent out in two turns. For a Master Hero card Alexstraza may have shiny effects but you are still MUCH better off running something such as Kel'Thuzad or Illidan if you plan on running a master hero at all. In the end I would say this card is worth buying if you plan on just having fun with the game, but if you wish to make a competetive deck I would try and stay away from her. Tomorrow I shall look at the other much more playable Master hero of the set Ysera the Dreamer

Card of the day - Weldon Barov
Alright well this card is basically a staple for any alliance deck that wishes to do well... Can you guess what it is? Weldon Barov of course. Weldon Barov is included in the Drums of war set and is quite possibly one of the most useful alliance Allys in the game. Although his stats are pretty average for a 5 cost ally his effect makes up for it. Having three 1/1 allys with protector on every single one of your opponents turn is quite possibly one of the best stall tactics to get whatever deadly force you have in your arsenal

Scourge Warrior Deck
For my first real post I am going to talk to you about a somewhat popular deck. It is a Scourge deck, the whole objective of the deck is to swarm your opponent with Marauding Geist's. This works very well unless your opponent is prepared for it. Now in the case this doesn't work you have cards such as King Ymiron and of course the Lich King. The deck I created is all about winning as fast as possible so the Lich King is really a last ditch scenario as you should have already won by that point. For people wishing to build a deck relying on the Scourge element of the TCG just remember one key thing Geists are your friend, but you have to remember their main drawback. That being they cannot attack unless there is a card in your graveyard along with your opponent/s graveyard so cards such as puncture in a warrior deck will make your deck even more deadly.
Getting started
Alright, this being my first blog I am not exactly sure what to post, but here it goes. Basically this blog is going to talk about the current WoW TCG go over a few of the current successful decks and go a little bit into World Of Warcraft Cataclysm. Overall this may have a bit of a shaky start but I assure you it will get better.
